Important: Because we arrange and facilitate vehicle financing,Boines Direct is a "financial institution" under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act ("GLBA"). We do not use automated decision-making to approve or deny credit. Credit decisions are made by third-party lenders, not by Boines Direct.
We use pixels and tags from advertising platforms (Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok) on our marketing pages. Depending on your jurisdiction, this activity may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We do not permit advertising pixels to fire on financing application pages, the customer portal, or any page where you enter financial or identity information. Nonpublic personal information collected under GLBA is never shared with advertising platforms.
To opt out of this activity, see Section 10.

We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within 45 days, with one 45-day extension where permitted.
Important limits. Records tied to a completed vehicle sale, financing, titling, or tax obligation generally cannot be deleted, because federal and state law requires us to retain them. Information subject to the GLBA is generally exempt from state consumer-privacy deletion rights.
Comprehensive consumer privacy statutes are in effect in Florida and Tennessee among the states we serve, but each applies only to businesses exceeding revenue and volume thresholds that Boines Direct does not currently meet. We nonetheless extend the access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights described above to all customers as a matter of policy. Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Mississippi have not enacted comprehensive consumer privacy statutes; all of these states do have data-breach notification laws, with which we comply.
To opt out of prescreened credit and insurance offers, call 1-888-5-OPT-OUT (1-888-567-8688) or visit optoutprescreen.com. That opt-out is administered by the nationwide credit bureaus, not by us.
If you are denied credit, the lender that made the decision will provide you an adverse action notice identifying the credit bureau used. That bureau did not make the decision and cannot explain it.
You have the right to a free copy of your credit report from each nationwide bureau at annualcreditreport.com.
We will not deny you a vehicle, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
We maintain a written information security program designed to meet the FTC Safeguards Rule, including:
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you and applicable regulators as required by the FTC Safeguards Rule and by the breach-notification laws of your state.
Our services are intended for individuals 18 and older who are legally able to enter a vehicle purchase contract. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it. Contact privacy@boinesdirect.com if you believe a minor has provided information to us.
This section satisfies the Federal Trade Commission's model privacy form under 16 C.F.R. Part 313 (Regulation P). It applies to nonpublic personal information collected when you apply for credit or purchase a vehicle from us.
